GCSE Summer
Bootcamp 2026
Six weeks. Two sessions a week. Maximum six students per group. Beat the summer slide and start September ahead of the curve — not behind it.
Built for Years 9 and 10
The summer before a new school year is one of the highest-leverage moments in a student’s academic journey. Most students waste it. Yours won’t.
Get ahead before GCSEs begin
Year 10 is when content accelerates and grades start to count. Arriving with the foundations already solid — number, algebra, core science — means your child spends the year building on knowledge rather than catching up.
Enter your exam year confident
By September, up to 40% of Year 10 content can fade from memory. The bootcamp rebuilds the highest-yield topics so students start Year 11 — their exam year — with momentum rather than gaps.
A 90-minute session that actually works
Every session follows the same high-impact structure. No wasted time, no passive listening, no homework lectures.
Diagnostic opener
Low-stakes retrieval quiz on the previous session. Identifies gaps before the tutor moves on.
Concept breakdown
Direct instruction on the session topic. Misconceptions dismantled, perfect method modelled, one worked example solved together.
Exam engine room
Students tackle real exam questions independently. The tutor delivers targeted, live verbal feedback to individuals — not the group.
The plenary
One rule. One takeaway. The single most important thing to remember from this session — and why it comes up in exams.
Choose your stream
Four streams running in parallel across the six weeks. Each group is capped at six students.
Foundation Maths
Number fluency, ratio, percentages, core algebra, linear graphs, data handling, and probability. Targeted at securing grade boundaries and building real exam confidence.
Higher Maths
Advanced algebra, coordinate geometry, functions, trigonometry, vectors, calculus introduction, and complex sequences. Designed for students pushing into grades 7, 8, and 9.
Combined Science
Integrated Biology, Chemistry, and Physics — the core topics, required practicals, and exam technique needed to clear grade boundaries confidently across all three sciences.
Triple Science
Extension content in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics covering homeostasis, organic chemistry, space physics, and complex data analysis — the topics that only appear on separate Triple papers.

Everything you need to know
The GCSE summer bootcamp 2026 is a structured six-week online revision programme for Year 9 and Year 10 students, running from 20 July to 27 August. Every session is delivered live by an experienced UK-qualified teacher, with a maximum of six students per group — small enough that every child gets individual attention, large enough to benefit from the energy of group learning.
The GCSE summer bootcamp covers four subject streams: Foundation Maths, Higher Maths, Combined Science and Triple Science. Maths groups meet on Mondays and Wednesdays; Science groups meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each 90-minute session follows a structured format — retrieval practice, direct instruction, exam practice, and a clear takeaway rule — so students build real exam technique, not just subject knowledge.
Research from the Education Endowment Foundation consistently shows that students lose significant academic progress during the summer break — a well-documented pattern known as the “summer slide”. For students in Year 9 and Year 10, this lost ground compounds: content forgotten over summer becomes the gap that widens through Year 10 and Year 11.
The GCSE summer bootcamp is built specifically to counteract this. By rebuilding the highest-yield topics before September, students arrive at school with momentum rather than catching up. Year 9 students entering Year 10 get a head start on the foundations; Year 10 students entering their exam year consolidate the content they already know and fill the gaps before they matter.
Places are limited to six students per group. Early bird pricing of £270 applies to all bookings made by 14 July 2026 — after that date, the standard rate of £300 applies.
